1.1. Use Verticality to Your Advantage
As mentioned in our previous guides, Hacienda offers many opportunities to gain high ground. Rushers tend to charge the central courtyard or the garden areas, and they often don’t look up. Take advantage of the multiple vertical levels — whether it’s the rooftop, a balcony, or even the higher floors of the villa.

• Counter Strategy: Get to the roof or upper floors as quickly as possible, and use your elevation advantage to spot and shoot incoming rushers. Keep an eye on the courtyards and garden paths, as they’re commonly used to flank from the ground level.

1.2. Set Traps in Tight Spaces
Rushers tend to make the mistake of charging into rooms or spaces without considering what’s waiting for them. In indoor areas like the villa or garage, position yourself behind cover and wait for them to enter. You can also place equipment like claymores or deployable shields to block entry points.

• Counter Strategy: When you're in a tight corridor or room, such as the garage or a villa hallway, place a Claymore or Proximity Mine near the door or window. This will deal significant damage to any rusher attempting to engage you. Use Tactical Mask to negate the effects of flashbangs or stuns, which rushers often throw to disable your ability to fight back.

1.3. Use Smoke Grenades
Aggressive rushers will often rely on speed and positioning, so disrupting their sightlines can give you a chance to outmaneuver them.

• Counter Strategy: Deploy a Smoke Grenade to block the vision of incoming rushers. Once the smoke fills the area, you can either escape, reposition, or catch them by surprise as they move through it. If you're in a firefight in the courtyard or garden, using smoke will allow you to control the tempo and disrupt their plans.

2. Countering Campers

Another common playstyle you'll encounter on Hacienda is the camper. Whether they’re sitting in the villa’s corners or hiding in the garden's dense foliage, campers rely on surprise and stealth to get the jump on unsuspecting players.

2.1. Use Tactical Equipment to Flush Them Out
Camping spots tend to be predictable, but they’re often hidden from direct sightlines. To root out campers, use equipment designed to flush them from their hiding spots.

• Counter Strategy: Use Flashbangs or Concussion Grenades to disorient campers before you rush in. Flashbangs are particularly effective in the villa, where campers may be lying in wait around corners or in rooms with low visibility. Once their vision is impaired, you can move in and eliminate them without risking getting ambushed.

2.2. Check the Common Camper Locations
Campers tend to stick to the same spots — these can include the corners of the villa's hallways, behind furniture, or even in the shadows of the garden area.

• Counter Strategy: When you enter a room or area, make a habit of clearing each corner. In tight spaces, always check your angles before fully committing to the next move. In the garden, keep a sharp eye out for movement among the plants and bushes, as these areas are ideal hiding spots for campers.

2.3. Use UAVs to Reveal Their Positions
Knowing where campers are hiding can be tricky, but if you can trigger a UAV, it will reveal their general location. Once you have the intel, work with your team to systematically clear out areas where you suspect a camper might be hiding.

• Counter Strategy: When the UAV shows multiple enemies clustered in one area, approach cautiously. Don’t charge in blindly — keep the element of surprise on your side and check the area for campers hiding near doorways, windows, or behind cover.

3. Countering Snipers

Sniper players are one of the most dangerous threats on a map like Hacienda, especially with its multiple open areas and elevated positions. Snipers usually prefer the rooftop or balconies for the long-range angles, making them tricky opponents to deal with.

3.1. Keep Moving
Snipers rely on patience and accuracy, so the best way to counter them is by constantly staying in motion. If you stop or stand still in the open for even a second, you'll likely end up in their crosshairs.

• Counter Strategy: In open areas like the garden or courtyard, always move from cover to cover. Use the sprint-jump tactic to make yourself a more difficult target. Also, try to angle your movement unpredictably so snipers can’t easily lead their shots.

3.2. Close the Distance Quickly
Once you've spotted a sniper in a high position, your best bet is to close the distance between you and them. Snipers are effective at long-range, but they can struggle when enemies rush them from close quarters.

• Counter Strategy: If you’re dealing with a sniper on the rooftop, use the side entrances to the villa or the garage as cover to flank them. If you manage to get inside the building, take the stairs and catch the sniper off guard from a closer range.

3.3. Use Smoke or Flashes to Block Vision
When dealing with a sniper in an elevated position, obscuring their line of sight is one of the most effective counters.
