Combat Strategy

General Strategy:

Tank the damage: Have Wylder or Guardian take aggro. These characters have solid defensive abilities and can keep Gladius focused on them while the rest of the team deals damage.

Range Attack: Duchess and Recluse should stay behind and either use ranged attacks or wait for openings to attack from behind. Since Gladius jumps unpredictably, it's safer to avoid committing to charge attacks.

Hit-and-run Tactics: Gladius is quick, so the safest bet is light attack combos and jump attacks. Don't stay in close range for too long, as his area-of-effect (AoE) attacks can hit hard.

Attack Patterns to Watch For:

Lunge and Bite Attacks:

Gladius has quick, multi-bite lunges and slower, more devastating bites using all three heads.

Signs: You can usually differentiate the slower, heavier attacks by watching for Gladius to rear up on his hind legs before launching the bite. These slower attacks are blockable if you have a shield, but they may still break your stance.

Dodge Strategy: If you don't have a shield, dodge directly into Elden Ring Items for sale the attack to land a few quick strikes.
