12-Meter Flange Circular Milling Machine Shipment

We are delighted to share the shipment photos of a custom-built 12-meter flange circular milling machine – FM12000. This massive machine, weighing over 23 tons, has been securely packed into two shipping containers. After 45 days of transit, it will arrive at the customer’s site in Europe for on-site machining operations. This marks yet another milestone for MT Portable Machine.

Our customer specializes in manufacturing port cranes and mining equipment. The main rotary mechanism of their equipment is supported by large slewing bearings, with a mounting surface diameter of 12 meters. This posed a significant on-site machining challenge. The customer initially explored local European suppliers but found the costs prohibitively high. Their technical team then discovered MT Portable Machine, initiating a month-long discussion and even dispatching engineers to visit our factory. After extensive collaboration, we successfully customized the FM12000 to meet their precise requirements.

After three months of meticulous manufacturing, MT Portable Machine produced the equipment following the highest precision standards. The customer conducted on-site acceptance testing at our facility, confirming that all technical parameters met their expectations. Once the machine arrives at the customer’s site, MT’s field engineers will provide comprehensive on-site training, ensuring seamless operation.
